The Republicans’ documents also mention Trump’s name, but these references are mainly in regards to the US president’s political career.Trump, who had a 15-year-long friendship with Epstein, denies all wrongdoing and has repeatedly stated that he was never involved in – or even knew about – Epstein’s sexual crimes.Epstein died by suicide in prison in 2019 after being arrested on charges of sex trafficking of minors.
