Philadelphia Fed’s manufacturing gauge shows activity contracted in November

The Philadelphia Federal Reserve said Thursday its gauge of regional business activity stumbled to -5.5 in November from 10.3 in the prior month. Any reading below zero indicates deteriorating conditions.
