The airline’s entry into TAC was marked by a historic flight from Copenhagen to Los Angeles, commemorating 70 years since SAS became the first airline to fly over the North Pole. This monumental journey in 1954 redefined global aviation by drastically cutting travel times between Europe and North America, setting an early precedent for fuel efficiency and emission reduction.
