Tourism Promotions Board Philippines Joins ASEAN Tourism Forum 2025 in Johor Bahru to Spotlight its Distinctive Travel Offerings and Promote the Region as a Unified Travel Hub

The Tourism Promotions Board (TPB) Philippines is gearing up to highlight the nation’s unique travel offerings on the global stage. The Philippines is all set to put its tourism sector in the global spotlight as it participates in the ASEAN Tourism Forum (ATF) 2025, taking place from January 15 to 20 in Johor Bahru, Malaysia. A pivotal event for Southeast Asia, the ATF acts as a significant platform for promoting the region as a collective tourism destination, offering an invaluable opportunity to enhance collaboration among ASEAN nations.The theme of ATF 2025, “Unity in Motion: Shaping ASEAN’s Tourism Tomorrow,” underscores the importance of regional unity in driving tourism growth. The forum will highlight the rich diversity, vibrant cultures, and sustainable initiatives within the ASEAN region, showcasing the incredible array of travel experiences that make this part of the world a top destination for international tourists.
“We are excited to present the Philippines as a leading travel destination within ASEAN and the broader international market at ATF 2025,” said TPB Chief Operating Officer Maria Margarita Montemayor Nograles. “This forum is an invaluable opportunity to strengthen our partnerships with ASEAN neighbors and highlight the unique, world-class offerings of the Philippines in a global tourism landscape.”
A key component of the forum will be the three-day Travel Exchange (TRAVEX) from January 15 to 17, a premier trade event where tourism industry stakeholders engage in business-to-business meetings, further promoting ASEAN tourism products and services. The Philippines’ delegation to this year’s ATF will be led by Tourism Promotions Board (TPB) Chief Operating Officer, Atty. Nograles, and will include 17 representatives from the private sector, representing various facets of the country’s tourism industry.
Among the participating Philippine tourism players are some of the leading travel and tour agencies, including Salton Travel and Tours Corporation, Luxure Holidays Inc., Quasar Travel and Tours, MICE Managers Travel and Tours, and Uni-Orient Travel, Inc.
