Friday, February 21, 2025

Dubai is spotlighting its vibrant tourism experiences at SATTE 2025, solidifying its status as a top choice for Indian travelers. Represented by the Dubai Department of Economy and Tourism, the city is emphasizing its rich cultural diversity, premium hospitality services, and exceptional connectivity, reaffirming its dedication to India as a vital tourism and business ally.

In 2024, Dubai attracted 3.14 million overnight visitors from South Asia, significantly contributing to its total of 18.72 million international arrivals, reflecting a nine percent growth compared to the previous year. By participating in SATTE, Dubai is strengthening its ties with Indian travel industry partners, including airlines, destination management firms, and hotels, fostering deeper collaboration and expanding opportunities.

Dubai continues to be a favored destination for Indian travelers, catering to diverse interests ranging from luxury shopping and exquisite dining to family-oriented attractions and business ventures. The recent expansion of the UAE’s visa-on-arrival policy has further enhanced its accessibility. Since 13 February, Indian citizens holding valid visas, residence permits, or Green Cards from Australia, Canada, Japan, New Zealand, Singapore, and South Korea can now obtain visas on arrival. This is in addition to the existing eligibility for travelers with permits from the European Union, United Kingdom, and United States.

Combining luxury, cultural experiences, and ease of travel, Dubai remains a leading choice for Indian tourists. Its unique blend of high-end retail, gourmet cuisine, and family-friendly entertainment ensures unforgettable experiences that cater to all preferences.
