San Francisco International Airport brings NBA All-Star excitement to travelers with an interactive basketball zone, letting passengers shoot hoops before takeoff.

San Francisco International Airport (SFO) is getting into the basketball spirit as it joins the celebration of the 2025 NBA All-Star Game. To mark the highly anticipated event, SFO has introduced a dedicated activity zone inside the terminal, inviting travelers to showcase their basketball skills in a fun and engaging way.

Located post-security in Harvey Milk Terminal 1, the activation features a basketball hoop and foam balls, allowing passengers to take their shot at some all-star action before their flight. The area will be staffed daily from 11:30 a.m. to 2:00 p.m., ensuring travelers of all ages can participate and enjoy the festivities.

The 2025 NBA All-Star Weekend, set to take place in San Francisco from February 14–16, promises a thrilling lineup of events, including the electrifying Slam Dunk Contest, the high-stakes Three-Point Shootout, and the much-anticipated All-Star Game featuring the league’s top players.

As basketball fever sweeps through the city, SFO’s interactive installation brings the excitement straight to travelers, making their airport experience more memorable while celebrating one of the biggest weekends in sports. Whether heading to the game or just passing through, passengers can take a moment to shoot some hoops and be part of the action.
