The Asia-Pacific Incentives and Meetings Event (AIME) 2025 has opened its doors at the Melbourne Convention and Exhibition Centre (MCEC), solidifying its status as the leading trade show for the region’s MICE (Meetings, Incentives, Conferences, and Exhibitions) industry. Running from February 10 to 12, this year’s event is the largest in its history, attracting record-breaking attendance and featuring groundbreaking initiatives to enhance global business collaborations.
Participation Reaches Unprecedented Levels
AIME 2025 hosts over 640 highly vetted hosted buyers from regions such as New Zealand, Europe, the UK, South-East Asia, North Asia, India, South America, the USA, and Canada. Additionally, 675 exhibitors from 30 countries and territories, including two new international pavilions from Singapore and Thailand, have joined the event.
This growth reflects the continued expansion of AIME as a platform for fostering meaningful connections. With 75% of hosted buyers attending for the first time, the event is achieving its mission of broadening access to global markets while facilitating significant business transactions.

Expanded Knowledge Program
The 2025 edition introduces a Knowledge Program themed “We Matter!” that underscores the critical role the MICE industry plays in economic growth. With sessions curated by BEAM founder El Kwang, the program features two keynote addresses by thought leaders:
Gus Balbotin, former CTO of Lonely Planet, who shares insights on adapting to technological disruptions in the business world.
Dr. Kristy Goodwin, a neuro-performance scientist, who explores strategies for optimizing well-being and productivity in a digitally demanding era.
Complementing the keynotes, the program includes 20 breakout sessions on cutting-edge topics such as artificial intelligence, sustainability, creative thinking, and consumer behavior in events.
Show Floor Innovation
The expanded show floor features dynamic zones like “The Boutique,” showcasing bespoke luxury experiences, and a dedicated area for Destination Management Companies (DMCs) offering curated insights into unique travel destinations. Attendees also benefit from pre-scheduled meetings tailored to match buyers and exhibitors, ensuring high-value networking opportunities.
