CHICAGO — Luis Robert Jr. homered and Edgar Quero added two hits and two RBIs as the Chicago White Sox beat the Houston Astros 7-3 on Friday night.Jonathan Cannon (2-3) allowed two runs on nine hits with five strikeouts in six innings as the AL-worst White Sox won consecutive home games for the second time this season and improved to 9-23.White Sox rookie infielder Chase Meidroth singled and scored on a one-out double by Quero for a 1-0 lead in the first inning. Robert, who had reached on a walk was thrown out at the plate on the play.
