September 4, 2025The Korea Tourism Organization (KTO) held Korea Travel Fiesta on August 30 and 31 at the Mall Of Asia SMX Convention Center and transformed its music hall into a winter wonderland. The two-day event aimed to teach the Filipino tourists the undiscovered essence of Korea by soothing their senses with beautiful landscapes of snowy Korea and Korean Cultural Heritage while also letting them enjoy some of Korea’s entertainment industry including Hallyu.The hall was transformed into a winter wonderland with the use of white and icy blue decorations. There were also twinkling light sculptures and other interactive pieces of art. Koreas winter magic was incorporated into the sculptures to create a beautiful and mesmerizing effect. The entrance to the stage allowed the guests to experience the full effect of the sculptures. The entire hall served as a perfect background for kids to enjoy themselves while learning about a Korean heritage. The opening ceremony was held to mark the start of the event which included both exclusive travel experiences as well as other performances.Advertisement The festival included a vast variety of events which contained impressive performances for the visitors. The guests were entertained by the wonderful Korea’s stage production acts singing and dancing at Korea’s Musical theater. The crowd also enjoyed K-pop acts as well which were meant for interactions. There were also performances of Taekwondo which guests were allowed to participate in. There were numerous dancers who interacted with the visitors by teaching them some of the Korean Pop moves.In addition to the shows, Korea Travel Fiesta 2025 focused on culture. Guests were taught how to prepare some of Korea’s traditional foods, were able to learn K-Beauty, and were able to wear a hanbok and Korea’s iconic performing arts school uniforms. Attendees were able to take personalized souvenirs from creative workshops, and in photo zones, the festival recreated parts of Korea’s winter such as a luminous cube of Nami Island in winter. These experiences combined tradition, styling, creativity, and the new culture of Korea.Also, family experiences were a main focus. The festival targets Korea as a winter family travel destination.
