Henze’s Background and Education
Morgan Henze hails from Galena, Illinois, and the Quad Cities. She is no stranger to the area, having spent time in Mason City while studying at the North Iowa Area Community College (NIACC) and later at the University of Northern Iowa (UNI). Henze graduated with a degree in public administration, but her professional expertise lies in tourism, marketing, and economic development, which she considers her true passion.Advertisement
In her new role, Henze plans to use her experience and creativity to take Delaware County’s marketing and tourism strategies to new heights. Before joining Delaware County Economic Development, she had a rich background working with Main Street Waterloo, the Quad Cities, and Mason City. Getting Acquainted with Delaware County
Since taking up her position, Henze has made it a priority to familiarise herself with the county and its community. In her first few weeks, Henze attended local events and took a tour of Delaware County with Donna Boss, the Executive Director of Delaware County Economic Development. Henze expressed her excitement at meeting local residents and becoming better acquainted with the county’s unique offerings.
