The 8th International Conference on Physical Medicine and Medical Rehabilitation recently took place in Abu Dhabi, hosted by the Abu Dhabi Convention & Exhibition Bureau. This prominent event plays a significant role in supporting the region’s efforts to enhance the quality and effectiveness of medical rehabilitation services.
The conference brought together leading global experts to discuss various pressing issues in the field. Topics covered included the latest innovations, recent updates, practical challenges faced, and effective solutions adopted within rehabilitation practices. The primary focus was on advancing the quality of rehabilitation services, with particular attention given to innovative treatments for neurorehabilitation, musculoskeletal conditions, spinal cord injuries, pediatric rehabilitation, sports medicine, and chronic pain. The conference was chaired by Dr. Yousif Ibrahim Al Nuaimi, the Head of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation at Zayed Military Hospital. Dr. Ahmed Al Khair, CEO of NMC ProVita in Abu Dhabi, served as the Vice President of the Conference and Chair of the Scientific Committee.
