ABOUT
Age Level: 8+ Setting: Small group (2-4 players)Type: Board gameTopics: Water resources, human health, land use, disastersEstimated Time: 30 minutes
Try your hand at cleaning our nation’s waterways, winning points for finding ways to use natural vegetation to keep water clean, learning how water is used in different places and industries, and trying to avoid disaster!
Materials & Setup
Collect Materials: One playing piece (a small unique object) for each player, one six-sided die.
Set-up: Download and print game board. Download and print instructions pdf (double-sided) and cut out tiles, cards and tokens.
Game Play
On each turn, roll the die, move that number of spaces, and draw an event card to follow its instructions.
If you land on a Land Use or WILD icon, draw three cards from the corresponding pile and purchase one by allocating clean water tokens as indicated. Landing on a disaster space triggers a disaster tile and die roll.
Passing START earns five clean water tokens and clears disaster tiles; follow instructions on any special corner spaces encountered.
