Come learn Ballroom Dance at the Gilruth Center.  These 4-week Ballroom Dance classes will teach you different types of Ballroom Dance, focusing on a different type of dance each session. Our classes are designed to be welcoming, fun, and easy to follow, whether you’ve never danced before or are looking to build a strong foundation. We break down technique in a clear, approachable way so you can lead or follow with confidence and enjoy dancing in real social settings. Our goal is simple, to create a supportive learning environment where beginners thrive, connections grow, and dancing feels fun – not intimidating. About the Instructors:

Zach Morris, a dance enthusiast with 20 years of experience and 16 years of teaching under his belt! Zach kicked off his career at Fred Astaire Dance Studios before stepping into the spotlight as the manager of the Mark Ballas Dance Studio in sunny California for three exciting years before opening his own studio in 2021. Zach is a competitive dancer with several wins in various type of dance – including Ballroom. Known for his engaging and supportive teaching style, Zach believes in making dance accessible and enjoyable for all levels. He focuses on building confidence in his students, encouraging them to express themselves while mastering their skills. Zach is all about sharing the joy of movement and inspiring others to join in the fun!

Rachel Moran – Rachel is a partner dance instructor and co-founder of Zach and Rachel Dance Studio.  She is passionate about helping beginners feel confident and comfortable on the dance floor by focusing on real-world social dancing, not just memorized steps.  With a fun, supportive teaching style, Rachel helps students build strong fundamentals and genuine partner connection so they can dance successfully with anyone. She is especially dedicated to creating a welcoming, beginner-friendly environment where learning feels clear, encouraging, and enjoyable. Rachel’s goal is to remove the intimidation from partner dancing and replace it with confidence, connection, and a love for social dance.
