Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge in Disneyland will start its most extensive refurbishment on April 29. This change will not only increase the presentation of the land by incorporating characters from different Star Wars time periods, changing its music, and increasing the area of the story told through its immersiveness but also will attract more visitors to Disneyland in Anaheim since they will now be able to experience a vast range of extremely different moments in Star Wars time instead of being restricted to just one narrowear.
This expansion, however, will only affect Disneyland, with Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge at Walt Disney World in Florida remaining unchanged for now. As a result, guests on both coasts will experience unique adventures in Galaxy’s Edge, offering a different atmosphere across Disneyland and Walt Disney World. A New Era for Batuu: Expanding the Timeline
When Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge first opened, it was set between the events of The Last Jedi and The Rise of Skywalker. This timeline limited the scope of the land’s storytelling. However, starting on April 29, Disneyland will introduce characters and events from other Star Wars eras, especially those from the Original Trilogy, offering visitors an even deeper immersion into the Star Wars universe.
