This event highlights the importance of responsible tourism as a catalyst for positive change, encouraging others to follow suit and contribute to Africa’s growing reputation as a leader in sustainable travel.

The WTM Africa Responsible Tourism Awards 2026 are now accepting entries. Businesses, destinations, and individuals dedicated to promoting sustainable and responsible tourism are invited to submit their applications before the closing date on 20 March 2026.

The winners of the Gold awards at WTM Africa will advance to the Global Responsible Tourism Awards, where Africa’s top achievers will compete on an international stage with leaders from around the world.

The awards ceremony will be held on 14 April 2026 at the Cape Town International Convention Centre (CTICC) as part of WTM Africa.
