Goddard Front Door Connection
NASA Goddard’s Gamma ray Neutron Test Facility (GNTF) is an outdoor, low-background environment that allows users to safely test high-intensity radiation detectors and operate high-energy gamma ray and neutron radiation instruments on top of large granite and basalt samples.
The Goddard Laser for Absolute Measurement of Radiance (GLAMR) lab specializes in testing and calibrating sensors that measure light and radiation. Its main goal is to make an advanced calibration method called Spectral Irradiance and Radiance Calibration using Uniform Sources (SIRCUS) more accessible and practical for use with airborne and satellite sensors.
