This potential transfer follows the substantial deal between the two clubs involving Morgan Rogers, who moved to Chelsea for a British record transfer fee of £117m. Analysis indicates that Garnacho faced challenges during his first season with Chelsea, accumulating 1217 Premier League minutes across 25 appearances, averaging under 49 minutes per game. His five goal involvements translated to one every 243 minutes, a statistical output below that of Rogers and teammate Emiliano Buendia during their respective seasons with Aston Villa.
Chelsea have demonstrated significant commercial activity in the transfer market. The club has generated approximately £130m through player sales including Marc Cucurella and Andrey Santos, along with compensation from Manchester City related to managerial arrangements. Should Garnacho, Nicolas Jackson, and Trevoh Chalobah depart, analysts project additional revenue around £100m. Additional defenders including Malo Gusto, Benoit Badiashile, and Axel Disasi are anticipated to leave, with Gusto valued at £75m.
