United has maintained its position against renegotiating terms with Barcelona or arranging another loan. The club’s financial discipline extends to its summer transfer strategy, declining to match rival offers for targets like Elliot Anderson and Mateus Fernandes. However, limited options exist for Rashford given the small number of clubs globally capable of matching his current salary, combined with his preference to protect his England international status.
