Jackman recently completed work on projects including A24’s The Death of Robin Hood and Amazon MGM Studios’ The Sheep Detectives. He has prior experience with pirate-themed material, having portrayed the historical pirate Blackbeard in the 2015 Warner Bros. prequel Pan.
