Prime Video India and CJ ENM, a major Korean entertainment company, have established a multi-year distribution agreement that will bring more than 100 Korean titles to the streaming platform across India over the following two years. The deal encompasses 26 new productions from CJ ENM alongside additional content sourced from the studio’s existing catalog, expanding upon their previous global partnership with a specific emphasis on the Indian market. All new and catalog titles under the arrangement will be made available with English subtitles and localized dubbing in Hindi, Tamil, and Telugu.
The initial slate of releases includes the third season of “Yumi’s Cells,” CJ ENM’s flagship series that achieved top ranking status across 81 streaming markets globally, as well as “Filing for Love,” which reached number one positions in 105 countries. Additional titles featured in the announcement encompass “The Legend of Kitchen Soldier,” “My Bias, My Boss,” and various library selections including earlier seasons of “Yumi’s Cells” and titles such as “Dear X,” “Law in the City,” and “Search: WWW.” The programming spans multiple genres including drama, thriller, romance, fantasy, and action, with appearances from actors including Kim You-Jung, Lee Jong-suk, Park Ji-hoon, and Cha Woo-min.
This agreement builds upon previous collaborations between the companies, including a global distribution pact finalized in May 2025 that granted Prime Video worldwide rights to CJ ENM content outside Korea and China. The companies have also pursued additional partnerships in India, with CJ ENM separately licensing 18 Korean dramas to Amazon’s ad-supported MX Player service in September 2025. Prime Video members will have access to the new titles at no extra charge, with executives from both organizations citing strong audience interest in Korean entertainment content across the Indian market as motivation for the expanded collaboration.
