Energy Minister Michael Shanks characterized the investment as essential to building a future-ready energy system that enhances energy independence and supports economic growth. National Grid’s transmission business head Alice Delahunty stated the company is advancing network upgrades to increase capacity and facilitate economic development while maintaining cost discipline and consumer value.
