The Denise West development is part of a broader regional strategy that includes the Cronos project offshore Cyprus, which achieved a final investment decision in July. Cronos is slated to deliver gas to Egypt’s existing Zohr facilities and subsequently to the Damietta LNG plant, reinforcing Egypt’s role as a regional processing and export hub for Eastern Mediterranean gas resources.
