He edited The Medusa Touch, starring Richard Burton and Lee Remick, before working on high-profile features including Never Say Never Again, which marked Sean Connery’s return to the James Bond franchise, and Field of Dreams. His work on Hope and Glory earned him a BAFTA nomination, and the film received an Academy Award nomination for best picture. He also collaborated extensively with director John Boorman on three films: The Emerald Forest, Hope and Glory, and Where the Heart Is.
