MAI-Cyber-1-Flash has been integrated into MDASH, a multi-model scanning system that combines 100 security-trained AI agents to detect exploitable vulnerabilities. According to Microsoft, this combined system achieved a 96 percent score on the CyberGYM benchmark test, outperforming comparable solutions from other major technology companies. The updated MDASH offering costs approximately half as much as the previous version.

Microsoft also unveiled Project Perception, a platform consisting of specialized AI agents designed to perform various security functions, including vulnerability discovery, risk assessment, and remediation. The platform reportedly selects appropriate models based on task requirements and cost considerations. Microsoft stated that Project Perception can handle approximately 90 percent of security tasks at lower costs than competing platforms, with customers potentially requiring more expensive alternatives only for the remaining 10 percent of work.

The company framed these tools as a response to the accelerating pace of cyberattacks and the growing complexity of network security. Both offerings are currently available in preview mode.
