Banks plays Wynter, Sebastian’s former spouse who is focused on pursuing personal goals. Symone portrays Jojo Calhoun, the younger sibling of a notable local bull rider and an aspiring musical artist. Dirden plays Greg Reagan, a District Court judge married to one of the main characters, with a concealed personal history.
The series is part of Starz’s slate of original programming following the network’s 2025 separation from Lionsgate. Kirk A. Moore serves as showrunner and executive producer, with production oversight from Gran Via Productions, Counterpart Studios, and other production entities. The project received an eight-episode order in April. This represents Starz’s second self-owned series, following the British boxing drama “Fightland,” which premiered on July 31 from executive producer Curtis Jackson.
