Saturday Night Live U.K. has announced the premiere date for its second season on Sky and Now, with the show set to begin Sept. 12. The new season will consist of six episodes airing over consecutive weeks, with additional episodes planned for early 2027 beyond this initial run. All 11 cast members from the inaugural season are returning to the show: Hammed Animashaun, Ayoade Bamgboye, Larry Dean, Celeste Dring, George Fouracres, Ania Magliano, Annabel Marlow, Al Nash, Jack Shep, Emma Sidi and Paddy Young. Behind the scenes, the production team has undergone several changes. Laura Claxton has been elevated to co-head writer working alongside returning head writer Jonno Johnson. Director Liz Clare continues in her role, while costume designer Heather MacVean joins the team for the first time. Sinead Oldnall will assume responsibility for onscreen talent management.
Universal Television Alternative Studio’s U.K. division and Broadway Video produce the series for Sky and NOW, with executive producer Lorne Michaels overseeing the project. James Longman leads production operations for the series.
