Foreigners comprised 39.3% of Incheon’s passengers during the first half of the year, up from 35.2% for the entirety of 2025, with the second quarter reaching a record 44.4%. The airport currently serves 101 airlines operating routes to 183 cities, including 158 international destinations. A four-phase expansion that concluded in late 2024 expanded the facility’s annual capacity to 106 million passengers. Acting president Kim Beom-ho credited the achievement to government support and the efforts of airport personnel.
