An independent security review being conducted by barrister Paul Greaney KC remains underway. Boydell’s departure was announced following widespread criticism of her response to safety concerns. Ray Reidy, the company’s chief financial officer, has assumed interim leadership.
Travelodge has implemented several remedial measures, including requiring explicit guest permission for replacement or additional key cards and verifying that all UK rooms have secondary deadbolts.
