The streamers intend to use the infiltration as content to gain followers and income, but their broadcast inadvertently awakens a malevolent presence connected to the century-old “Ghost of the Hứa Family.” The entire production employs found-footage cinematography.
“Lầu Chú Hoả: The Deadliest Mansion” was produced through a collaboration between Runup Vietnam and South Korea’s Hive Media Corp, representing Hive’s initial production investment outside South Korea. Hive has financed multiple successful Korean films, including the found-footage horror title “Gonjiam: Haunted Asylum,” which drew over 2.6 million admissions domestically.
Mockingbird Pictures is coordinating the North American distribution as part of its initiative to expand Vietnamese commercial cinema to international markets. The company manages distribution for numerous films across theatrical and post-theatrical platforms throughout Southeast Asia.
