Created by former “The Office” producer Lee Eisenberg, the show features the actors playing fictionalized versions of themselves who discover they may be biological brothers. The premise draws inspiration from actual events involving Harrelson’s father and McConaughey’s mother.
Harrelson is also involved with Netflix’s “The Cackling of the Dodos,” directed by Jason Bateman and co-starring Sam Rockwell. The film marks the first project under Harrelson’s production banner, Children at Play, which he launched with producer Anna Schwartz. Harrelson praised Bateman’s directorial approach and noted that revisions elevated the script to evoke the sensibilities of Martin McDonagh and the Coen Brothers.
