The prosecution further alleges that Davies was killed to eliminate him as a witness.
Following the alleged incidents, authorities discovered bloodied items belonging to the victims in a Sydney bin. Lamarre-Condon subsequently turned himself in to police and was charged. Eight days after the alleged murders, the bodies were located. Lamarre-Condon was terminated from his position with New South Wales Police following his arrest. A jury of 15 members, with three selected as contingencies, was sworn in prior to the commencement of proceedings.
