The auction house Propstore managed the sale, which was organized to commemorate the studio’s 50th anniversary. According to Ngaio Harding-Hill, director of attractions and live experiences at Aardman, the collection was carefully selected to represent five decades of the studio’s output. All revenue generated from the auction will support talent development at Aardman, including scholarships for the Aardman Academy training program, ensuring that the sale directly contributes to developing future animation professionals.
