The Department of Health and Social Care responded by emphasizing the government’s commitment to strengthening support for individuals with dementia and their caregivers. The department indicated it is accelerating the timeline for implementing recommendations from Baroness Casey’s social care reform commission and appointing a dedicated dementia tsar to lead reform efforts.
