Following the latest ruling, Lizzo posted on Instagram expressing relief at the outcome and reiterating her commitment to fighting all claims against her and her businesses.
Daniel’s attorney, Ron Zambrano, stated disappointment with the decision, arguing that the judge improperly weighed evidence that should have been evaluated by a jury. He indicated that the legal team is considering next steps. The lawsuit was originally filed in September 2023 and follows separate litigation involving three of Lizzo’s former tour dancers, whose sexual harassment allegations remain denied by the singer’s team.
