The vehicle features an 800-volt charging architecture that allows 10-80 percent battery charging in under 25 minutes using a 350kW DC fast charger. Additional features include vehicle-to-load outlets for powering external equipment and an infotainment system based on Kia’s Pleos Connect OS with integrated Gleo AI voice controls.

The PV7’s design incorporates a distinctive two-tone front end with a dark upper section framing the windshield, combined with an upright profile and flat roof intended to maximize interior space. The vehicle includes a low front bumper and plastic body cladding around its base for durability. Kia has announced that the PV7 will launch in Europe and Korea in the second half of 2027, with additional markets and variants to follow. While the company has not officially confirmed US availability, reports indicate a testing vehicle has been spotted in the country. The minivan segment has experienced notable growth recently, with sales increases suggesting renewed consumer interest in this vehicle category.
