In domestic developments, the distributed solar and storage sector continues to expand. Aligned Climate Capital announced the initial close of its seventh infrastructure fund, ASP7, which targets $500 million for acquiring construction-ready solar and storage projects. The fund has identified a pipeline exceeding 500 megawatts of potential projects across multiple states. Since 2018, Aligned’s solar programs have acquired 56 projects in 10 states, cumulatively producing more than 218 gigawatt-hours.
