The IFPM slate comprises primarily film projects alongside six television series and five innovation-focused ventures, reflecting the festival’s broader effort to welcome creators and financiers working across different media types.
Macnaughton emphasized that the market structure accommodates evolving industry dynamics, where streaming platforms now maintain robust acquisition teams and independent producers face different competitive pressures than in previous years.
