The alleged incidents under investigation span from February 2024 through last month, during which time the suspect worked at various health centres throughout Ontario.
The investigation has since expanded to cover five healthcare facilities: Orillia Soldiers’ Memorial Hospital, Headwaters Health Care Centre in Orangeville, Trillium Health Partners’ Mississauga Hospital, St Joseph’s Health Centre in Toronto, and West Park Health Care Centre in Toronto. Each facility reported incidents during different time periods spanning from February 2024 to September 2026. During the investigation, officers executed multiple search warrants and recovered significant amounts of property.
Police have indicated that the specific duties of the suspect at the hospitals remain unclear. Investigators believe there may be additional victims beyond those already identified and have requested that the public review their financial records for suspicious transactions.
