Bunim/Murray Productions, which created the original series, will produce the special as part of its parent company Banijay Entertainment. Executive producers include Julie Pizzi, Steve Ezell, Brad Tiemann and Tanisha Thomas.
Versant entertainment president Val Boreland stated in a statement that the company selected the project based on viewer engagement data. “Bad Girls Club has consistently over-indexed with our viewers,” Boreland said, adding that the network aims to deliver programming aligned with audience interests as it develops its streaming service.
