Victoria House is prioritizing expansion into scripted fiction as a growth area. The company is co-producing “Alexia,” a feature film inspired by the early life of Spanish soccer player Alexia Putellas, scheduled for theatrical release in 2027. The project is backed by Movistar Plus and 3Cat, produced alongside LaZona, LaCima Producciones, and Odessa Films. Additional scripted features are in development for 2028 and 2029, including a project Martínez describes as drawing inspiration from an extraordinary true story with emotional and social dimensions.
The producer is also expanding its true-crime slate. Netflix’s upcoming documentary series “Criminopatía,” set for 2027, adapts Clara Tiscar’s true-crime podcast. The company previously produced HBO Max’s “11 Tiros” and earned an International Emmy in 2025 for Best Sports Documentary with “It’s All Over: The Kiss That Changed Spanish Football.” Victoria House will operate within Gersh International’s content division alongside podcast, YouTube, and branded entertainment businesses.
