Jess Gabor and Arthur Langlie to Star in Christina Kallas’ Thriller ‘He Talks to Me’ (EXCLUSIVE)

Jess Gabor and Arthur Langlie are set to headline “He Talks to Me,” a psychological thriller directed by Christina Kallas with a screenplay by Alejandro Adams. The film will be produced by Mike S. Ryan through Greyshack Films and Derrick Tseng.

The story centers on Melody, a young single mother living in rural Arkansas, whose encounter with local police officer Bryce Hagan transforms from an initial questioning into an intense ordeal involving survival, coercion and endurance. The supporting cast features Sayra Player, Adam David Thompson and Ryan Siegel.

Kallas brings significant festival recognition to the project, having participated in the Berlinale and Slamdance film festivals twice. She previously served as president of the Federation of Screenwriters in Europe and maintains membership in the Actors Studio. Her prior directorial work includes “Paris is in Harlem” and “The Rainbow Experiment.”

Gabor comes to the project following recent work on Tony Goldwyn’s “Hello Darkness” and will appear in a recurring capacity on the third season of “Daredevil: Born Again.” She has also appeared in films including David Michod’s “Christy,” “The Friend” alongside Bill Murray, and “Throuple.” Her television credits include roles in Season 2 of Paramount+’s “School Spirits” and appearances in later seasons of “Shameless.”

Langlie was recently seen in Kent Jones’ 2025 film “Late Fame,” which featured Willem Dafoe and Greta Lee. He has additional projects in development including “Cut Your Teeth” and “Trash Pandas.”
