Slayyyter has unveiled plans for Worst Man in America, a new album designed to complement her recent mainstream breakthrough Worst Girl in America. The project will explore similar musical territory to the original album but through what the artist describes as an inverted perspective. All tracks on the companion record are newly created, with the exception of two previously released singles, “Brand New Chanels” and “Crank 2.”
According to the artist’s announcement, some songs on Worst Man in America will directly invert tracks from the original album, while others will establish a parallel storyline that simultaneously echoes and questions the themes of the first project. The album is categorized as a separate work rather than an expanded version of Worst Girl in America.
Slayyyter, whose real name is Catherine Grace Garner, released Worst Girl in America in March through Records and Columbia Records, marking her major label debut. The album achieved significant commercial success, supported by prominent performances at major music festivals including Coachella, Governors Ball, and Lollapalooza. The artist is currently in the midst of her sold-out Worst Girl in the World tour, which began with performances in her hometown of St. Louis before expanding across the United States. International dates for the tour have been scheduled in São Paulo, Rio de Janeiro, Paris, and Berlin.
Worst Man in America is scheduled for release on Dec. 4.
