Artemis II lifted off from NASA’s Kennedy Space Center in Florida on April 1, 2026.
Artemis II Commander Reid Wiseman, Pilot Victor Glover, and Mission Specialist Christina Koch, from NASA, along with Mission Specialist Jeremy Hansen, from the CSA (Canadian Space Agency), will reach the lunar sphere of influence on Sunday, April 5, before the Orion spacecraft flies around the far side of the Moon on Monday, April 6.
