A nighttime raid in the West Bank village of Deir Jarir on Sunday resulted in two Palestinian deaths and one hospitalization. One of the victims, 53-year-old Odeh Farajna, was a village council member and businessman who was shot through the chest. The other victim was 26-year-old Abdul Adel Rashid Abu Mukh. During burial proceedings, family members characterized the incident as evidence of systematic coordination between settlers and military forces. Video documentation showed Israeli Defense Force soldiers in combat gear accompanying settlers as livestock was removed from homes. Palestinian accounts indicated that 21 sheep were taken from one resident and 50 from another during the incident.
