The trailer confirms the return of Chris Hemsworth as Thor, Paul Rudd as Ant-Man, and Chris Evans as Captain America, alongside additional cast members from other Marvel franchises including Pedro Pascal from Fantastic Four, Patrick Stewart from X-Men, Letitia Wright from Black Panther, and Florence Pugh from Thunderbolts. Ian McKellen also appears in the film, reprising his role as Magneto. During a recent appearance at the Piazza festival in Rome, McKellen discussed his involvement in the production, describing scenes filmed for the project and noting direction from co-directors the Russo brothers regarding character motivation.
Robert Downey Jr. makes a significant return to the MCU in the role of Doctor Doom, a casting move that marks his transition from his previous role as Iron Man.
